Hanne Wølk Gøtske

My name is Hanne Wølk Gøtske and I live in Fredericia, Denmark. My passion is painting and drawing, it has been this way ever since I was a young girl. It has always been my dream to become a full time creative artist and that dream came true in September 2005.

I was an art major in college and in 1979 I graduated from the College of Education in Kolding.

I have more than 18 years of teaching experience with children and in recent years I have also taught adults.

In the last couple of years I have participated in relevant art programs in Vejle and Kolding. The teachers of the programs were educated from Kolding Design College and from Academy of fine Arts.

In addition to that I have passed multiple classes in portrait- and life drawing, landscape, water color painting, zincography and acrylics.

Until 2007 I was an active member and chairperson of the Art Council in Fredericia. Among other things, I made, with help from other members, a guide of art exhibitions in Fredericia. This guide was made especially for the creative artists in my community.

Today, I am a member of KunstSpiralen, a local art society for the creative artists in the district of Fredericia.

Naïve Art is my favorite because I love the clear/fine colors, the contrasts and the humor in it.

Funny looking houses, people in all sorts of situations, fairytales, and clowns are just a few of the elements I use in my paintings.

In addition to that I also paint and draw life drawings, landscapes and much more. These paintings are only made if ordered.
